In the heart of our community in Grasfontein is Grasfontein Service Club, a nonprofit-driven organization whose mission is to see the elevation of the elderly through their giant responsibility of taking care of their grandchildren. Grasfontein Service Club was established in the year 2015 and since then has been a haven for its beneficiaries faced by massive challenges heightened by poverty and social isolation.

Realizing all the hardships being endured by these elderly caregivers, Grasfontein Service Club offers a secure, nurturing environment toward refuge, companionship, and the dawn of new purpose. The organization offers a sort of lifeline, from creative crafts, physical exercises, and mental stimulation down to simple daily activities that prove to the elderly that they are not alone in this world and their contributions to their family and the community are beyond value.

At Grasfontein, the spirit of service runs deep, and every effort is made to ensure a life filled with dignity, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose for these elders.
